chai latte smoothie

I've been feeling very spicy this week.  The boys got some harrisa mayo on their turkey sandwiches today, Morrocan is teed up for dinner, and chai latte smoothies are for breakfast.  I'm working on additional used for this chai blend so stay tuned.  Off the top of my head, I would definitely try adding a couple of teaspoons to coconut chia pudding.

The spices in this smoothie are so warming and kind of perfect on a chilly morning.  The addition of the almond butter gives it some texture, which I love, but please omit it if you have issues with such things.  And, of course, feel free to adjust the spice blend to suit your taste.

It's delicious and also pretty nutritious.  You are packing quite a few good things, like potassium, Vitamins A, D and about 50% of your B12, Omega 3's from the almond butter not to mention the benefits of the spices, from help with blood sugar regulation to brain health.  So drink up, friends, I've got you covered.
