garlic confit grilled bread

This isn't really even a recipe. It's more of an excuse to use the garlic confit you've just made.  If you have a panini grill, set it to high.  Start with a loaf of crusty bread.  Just pick you favorite, it will all be good. Smear it with the garlic and some of the oil from the confit.  Grill until done.

You can easily grill the bread on a gas or charcoal grill.  You can even use a fancy fish basket to keep the garlic from slipping away. Or you could carefully toast it in a large frying pan.  If you chose the frying pan method, just make sure press down on the bread when it's garlic side down in an attempt to get the garlic to stick to the bread. If there are some strays in the pan, just scoop them out and throw them on the pile of toast bread.  Any way you do it, it will be delicious.

Make it as an appetizer (with the confit) for your next dinner party, gather around with friends and some lovely wine.  You won't need much else.
