kale-pineapple detox juice

This is one glass of spicy-zippy deliciousness.  When your body needs a re-boot, this will do the trick.  If the addition of cayenne pepper sounds a little nutty, read this.  Cayenne pepper has some seriously great anti-inflamitory properties and is a known circulatory stimulant.  Pineapple is LOADED with digestive enzymes, Vitamin C and the B complex group.  Super-star kale brings antioxidant vitamins A, C, and K.  Yup, I've got your back.

I like to make a batch and store it in the fridge in this handy glass with a snap on cover.  Try to drink your juice ASAP and make the most of all of those valuable enzymes.

1 bunch of kale

1 pineapple

1 cucumber

knob of ginger

1 T ground cayenne pepper

juice of 1 lemon (never put citrus through your juicer; it will be beyond bitter)

Run everything but the lemon and cayenne through your juicer. Stir in the lemon juice and cayenne and drink up!
